Have fun and meet new people while learning the world's greatest card game. We're currently in the midst of our lesson series but we still welcome new players to come and join us!
Our fourteenth series of FREE BEGINNING BRIDGE LESSONS will run on Thursday nights beginning June 17th at 7:00pm at the Norman Seniors Center (see game schedule for map). No prior experience is required or assumed and all ages are welcome. The optional but highly recommended book (EasyBridge! 1 by Edith McMullin) will be available at cost for $14. Our very successful "Moving Forward" 99er duplicate game is held on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. Eric presents a short topic and then we play until 9:30 p.m. Topics are independent so even if you can't attend every week, you're still more than welcome to drop by. (And yes, Eric does take requests for suggested topics if there are particular issues you would like to have covered.) People are free to ask questions, get advice, or ask for help. If you've been away from the game for a while or want a refresher course in the basics of modern bidding style, feel free to join us.
We welcome new players to join us on Thursday nights at any point during the year. For those preferring to learn bridge "from the beginning" in a more formalized class setting, we normally offer classes starting three times a year (January, May/June, and September).
