WE ARE NORMAN

We believe that:

• our bridge club is a family;
• our new players are our greatest treasure;
• our competitiveness at the bridge table should not be combative;
• our personal responsibility is to see that everyone in our games feels welcome and supported.

We want to make it clear to everyone who lives in our area: you don't have to live in Norman to be "from Norman." Players in the Norman games come from Oklahoma City, El Reno, Moore, Yukon, Shawnee, Ada, Edmond, Newcastle, Noble, Midwest City, Lexington, and Blanchard, to name a few, besides Norman.

The Marquette University community in Wisconsin developed the saying "We Are Marquette" and emblazoned it on all their athletic facilities, most campus buildings, and in the everyday conversation of its people. "We Are Marquette" is not the university motto or slogan; it is their way of life.

Similarly, WE ARE NORMAN.
